Myrtle Beach trip pictures!!

After much sorting, I finally have all the Myrtle Beach pictures together. Well, most of them. There are still some to grab from the rest of my friends not to mention the ones taken with my iPhone. We had a great time while we were there. Never got to go shag dancing (sad face). Didn't see one shark (thank goodness) but my friends and I did inadvertently donate items to the ocean such as sunglasses, eyeglasses, and swimming goggles. That's what happens when you get in the water with powerful waves!

The longest week of my life...

Next week, my friends and I will embark on the summer trip of a lifetime: Myrtle Beach! Okay, maybe not the trip of a lifetime, but it'll still be fun. Problem is, I'm stuck waiting the next seven days before I take my first vacation since 2005. Yes, I'm one of those Americans who works all the time and never takes more than a couple days off to relax. I haven't been out of the state since 2008 and the last time I left the country? 2005 when I took my last vacation. Current financial issues are putting a dent in any future travel plans but I will get to Europe before I'm too old to enjoy it even if it kills me! In the meantime, Myrtle Beach will suffice. Bring on the surf, sand, drinking games, and the Carolina Shag!
